The function ;

f{x} has a slope of 2

g{x} is perpendicular to f{x} , this will mean

g[x} has a slope of -1/2

if g{2} = 5

then you can come up with an equation for this function using the slope and value of x=2 and that of g{x} =5

For example

g{x} = -1/2 x + c =5 where x = 2 this can be written as;

5 = - 1/2 { 2} + c

5= -1 + c

5+1 = c

6 = c so the equation can be written as;

g{x} = -1/2 x + 6
