First turn the equation y=4-2x into a y=Mx+b formula. It would be y=-2x+4. Then plug it in into the y on the second equation. I’d be 3(-2x+4)-2x=4. Then solve. The answer is x=1. Hope it helped. :)

Answer:

x=1 y=2

Explanation:

y=4-2x 3y=4+2x

3*(4-2x)=4+2x

12-6x=4+2x

12-4=2x+6x

8x=8

x=1

y=4-2*1

y=2
