To find how many pounds of peaches can Albert but, we can use this expression:

(Price of each pomegranate)(#quantity)+(Price of peaches per pound)(#pounds)=$10

So, substituing all the given values, we have:

(1.59)(2)+(1.19)(x)=10

Now, we have to solve for x:

\begin{gathered} 3.18+1.19x=10 \\ 1.19x=10-3.18 \\ 1.19x=6.82 \\ x=(6.82)/(1.19) \\ x=5.73 \end{gathered}

So, Albert can't buy 0.73 pounds of peaches, so rounding the number Albert can buy 5 pounds of peaches.
