SOLUTION

\begin{gathered} (x+4)^2=36 \\ move\text{ square to the other side to become square root} \\ x+4=\pm√(36) \\ x+4=\pm6 \\ x=-4\pm6 \end{gathered}

So either

\begin{gathered} x=-4+6 \\ x=2,\text{ or } \\ x=-4-6 \\ x=-10 \end{gathered}

Hence the answers are 2 or -10.

Therefore options A and B are the answers
