Given:

Set S and T each have 6 distinct numbers

The values of set S and T is such that:

\begin{gathered} S\text{ = \textbraceleft a, b, c, d, e, f\textbraceright} \\ T\text{ = \textbraceleft a, b, c, d, e, g\textbraceright} \\ g\text{ < f} \end{gathered}

Let us begin by defining the mean, median and mode of a dataset

The mean is the average value in a set of data

The median is the value in the middle of the set of data when arranged in order

The mode is the value with the highest frequency.

From the definition above, we can determine that the mean is set T would be less than the mean in set S because when calculating the mean, we have to sum all the numbers.

Answer: Mean only
