Answer:

A shirt cost 10 dollars each

A pair of sock cost 4 dollars each

Explanation:

We can make a system of equation with this where the variable s is price of socks and t is price of shirt

s+2t =24

I did this because 1 sock plus 2 shirts is 24 dollars

3s+2t=32

I did this because 3 socks and 2 shirts equal 32

now we solve the system by setting the first equation to s

s+2t=24

-2t. -2t

s=24-2t

now we fill in s in the second equation

3(24-2t)+2t=32

72-6t+2t=32

72-4t=32

-72. -72

-4t=-40

/-4. /-4

t= 10

a price of a shirt is 10 dollars and now to find the price of socks we fill in t.

s+2(10)=24

s+20=24

-20. -20

s=4

a pair of sock equals 4 dollars

hopes this helps let me know if you have questions
