consecutive angles are supplementary ( sum to 180° )

∠ GDE and ∠ FGD are consecutive angles , that is

∠ GDE + ∠ FGD = 180°

30° + ∠ FGD = 180° ( subtract 30° from both sides )

∠ FGD = x = 150°
