We have to graph the inequality:


y\ge-2x-4

The first step is to graph the boundary line y = -2x - 4.

It has a y-intercept y(0) = -4.

We also can check that the x-intercept is x = -2.

With the two intercepts (or any other two points) we can graph the line.

This line will be graphed as a full line. This is because the line is included as part of the solution.

Now, because of the sign ">", the solution region includes all the values of y above the boundary line.
