When we are classifying and DNA RNA we must consider that even when they are both nucleic acids, that is to say, they possess nitrogenated bases they have structural differences, such as single or double-stranded as well as the bases themselves that compose it.
The differences are as it follows:
DNA Only:
Double-stranded
Bases Bond Together
Thymine
DNA & RNA:
Phosphate-Sugar Bonds
Phosphates
Adenine
Cytosine
Guanine
RNA Only:
Single-stranded
Uracil
