To know a point in that line we are going to take x=0 so

\begin{gathered} y\text{ = }((-3)/(8))(0\text{ + 8) -4} \\ y\text{ = (}(-3)/(8)\text{) (8) -4} \\ y\text{ = -3 -4 = -7} \end{gathered}

the answer is a point on this line is (0, -7), another point is (-56/3, 0) = (-18.6 , 0)
