Hello

The population at 2008 = 2692

The population at 2010 = 5712

The absolute increase is simply the difference between the two population over the two time periods

Absolute increase is

5712-2692=3020

The absolute difference is 3020

The percentage increase would be the ratio between the change in population to the original population multiplied by 100

(5712-2692)/(2692)*100=(3020)/(2692)*100=112.18\text{ \%}

The percentage increase is approximately equals to 112.2%

From the calculation above, the absolute difference is 3020 and the percentage increase is 112.2%
