The scatter plot shows the results of a survey conducted by a T-shirt manufacturing company. A line of best fit was found for the data with the equation y = -5x + 80, where y is the number of T-shirts sold and x is the price of a T-shirt. B5 80 75 70 65 60 55 50 45 . For every dollar the price of a T-shirt increases, 5 fewer T-shirts will be sold. B. For every dollar the price of a T-shirt increases, 5 more T-shirts will be sold. C. For every 5 dollars the price of a T-shirt increases, 1 more T-shirt gets sold. , D. For every 5 dollars the price of a T-shirt decreases, 1 fewer T-shirt gets sold.

The given equation of line of best fit is,

y=-5x+80

The general equation of line is,

y=mx+c

Here, m is the of line.

The slope gives the change in y value with change in x value.

A negative slope indicates that the y value decreases with increase in x value.

Comparing the above equations, slope m=-5.

In the given graph, the x coordinates represents the price of a T-shirt and the y coordinate indicates the number of T-shirts sold.

Therefore, for every dollar the price of a T-shirt increases, 5 fewer T-shirts will be sold.

Hence, option A is correct.
