The equation of a circle is expressed as

(x - h)^2 + (y - k)^2 = r^2

Where

h and k are the x and y coordinates of the circle at the center. Looking at the graph, at the center of the circle, x coordinate = 0, y coordinate = 3

Thus,

h = 0, k = 3

Also, the radius = 2 units

If we substitute these values into the equation, we have

(x - 0)^2 + (y - 3)^2 = 2^2

x^2 + (y - 3)^2 = 4

Thus, the equation of the circle is

x^2 + (y - 3)^2 = 4
