Given the quadratic equation:

4x^2+8x+4

Factorizing the common factor:

4(x^2+2x+1)

But we know that:

(x+1)^2=x^2+2x+1

Now, using this identity:

4x^2+8x+4=4(x+1)^2

We conclude that the factoring pattern is a perfect square trinomial
