We get that the standard formula of a parabola is:


(y-k)^2=4p(x-h)

if the parabola is a vertical one


(x-h)^2=4p(y-k)

if the parabola is an horizontal one.

In both cases the vertex coordinates are: (h,k).

therefore in all the cases of question 1 the vertex is (0,0)
