The question asks to find the percent of the values over 100 grams per day

So let us look at the graph and find the total of all days and the total over 100 grams per day

From the graph the heights of the columns are:

0.08, 0.16, 0.16, 0.18, 0.12, 0.14, 0.16

Let us add then to find the total of all days

In the y-axis, the label is the relative frequency

There is a relation between the height and the relative frequency

The height equals = Relative frequency times the relative frequency

So we will multiply each vertical data by the width of each bare

All bars have a width 20, so multiply each data by 20

Total = 0.08 * 20 + 0.16 *20 + 0.16 * 20 + 0.18 *20 + 0.12 *20 + 0.14 * 20 + 0.16 * 20 = 20

Now let's find the data over 100 grams per day

They are 0.12 * 20 + 0.14 * 20 + 0.16 * 20 = 8.4

To get the percent we will divide 8.4 by 20 and multiply the answer by 100%

(8.4)/(20)*100\text{ percent = 42 percent}

The percent is 42

The answer is 42%

The percent of the subjects have a dietary fat intake about 100 grams/day is 42%
