Have you ever wondered why water in a shallow lake is warmer than water in a deeper lake? Why do you think

Answer:

depends on if its exposed to more sun/light and how murky it is. its harder for light and heat to go further in the deeper lake because the photons bounce off the water molecules much easier seeing as theres more of them. but there's not as much mass refracting and dispersing light in a shallow lake

I think that it is warmer because there is less water to keep warm.

I don’t know if that made sense
