I will try to explain this as best as possible. My senior design team and I have a communication issue with our land drone (RC car). We have our receiver connected to 4 motors for the wheels and 2 actuators for the front loader soil collection system. We are able to control the motors with the transmitter and the actuators but not both at the same time. For some reason we can only operate one set at a time. In other words, we can drive the land drone around but then when we need to use the actuators, they wont work. We have to turn off the ESCs that the motors are connected to and then the actuators work. Note: the actuators are also connected to different separate mini ESC. We are not sure what the issue is or how to fix the issue. We are emchanicals and lac knowledge in this area.

Final answer:

The issue with your land drone is likely due to a conflict between the motors and actuators. To fix this issue, you may need to adjust the programming or settings of the ESCs to ensure they can work together and operate both the motors and actuators simultaneously.

Step-by-step explanation:

The issue you are experiencing with your land drone is likely due to a conflict between the motors and actuators.

When you operate the actuators, they are connected to a separate mini ESC, which may not be properly synchronized with the ESCs connected to the motors. This lack of synchronization can cause a conflict and result in only one set being operational at a time.

To fix this issue, you may need to adjust the programming or settings of the ESCs to ensure that they can work together and operate both the motors and actuators simultaneously.
