First we need to figure out the area of the top circle and bottom circle.

We know that the formula for the area of a circle is:

So we need both circles, our formula becomes:

2πr²

Let's substite our radius in.

2 × π × 4² = 32πcm²

Now we need to find the area of the sides itself. Our formula here is:

2 × π × r × h

Let's substitute our radius and height in:

2 × π × 4 × 11 = 88πcm²

Let's now add both of these together:
