The Area of the inside of the track is: 11698.66 m²

What is the area of the composite shape?

since the perimeter of two semicircles adds up to that of one circle, the perimeter of the track would be the perimeter of the circle + the length of the rectangle.

we can find the area of the circle using the formula :

Area = π × (diameter)²/4

= 3.14 × 74²/4

= 4298.66 m²

Area of rectangle is:

A = 100 * 74

A = 7400 m²

The total area of the track is:

Total Area = 4298.66 + 7400

Total Area = 11698.66 m²
