By calculations, line l has a slope of 1 and line k has a slope of 2

How to determine the slopes of the lines

From the question, we have the following parameters that can be used in our computation:

The graph

The slope of a line is calculated using

Slope = Rise/Run

Where

RIse = Change in y

Run =Change in x

Using the above as a guide, we have the following:

Line l = (2 - 1)/(2 - 1)

Line l = 1

Line k = (4 - 2)/(2 - 1)

Line k = 2

Hence, line l has a slope of 1 and line k has a slope of 2
