A rectangle has an area of 274.5m

One of the sides is 4.5m in length.
Work out the perimeter of the rectangle.

Answer:

Perimeter = 131 m

Explanation:

Area=Length x Width so:

274.5 = 4.5 x Width

Width = 274.5/4.5 = 61 m

Perimeter = 2 Widths + 2 Lengths so:

Perimeter = 2(4.5)+2(61 )= 131 m
