I don't think the options you have listed are correct

Everywhere that I looked has that explanation as the definition for dark

I can list the definitions for the rest

Tint- A relatively light value of color, produced by adding white.

Shade- A relatively dark value of color, produced by adding black.

Tone- An intermediate value of colors between a tint and a shade.

Saturation- One of the 3 dimensions of color; the purity or vividness of a hue, also called intensity.

Final answer:

The term for a color with low lightness and low saturation is a 'shade'. This occurs when black is added to a color, reducing its lightness and saturation.

Step-by-step explanation:

The term used to designate a color that has low lightness and low saturation, reflecting only a small fraction of incident light, is a shade. When white is added to a color, it's called a tint, which increases its lightness. However, when black is added, a darker color known as a shade is created. A tone occurs when gray (a mix of black and white) is added to a color, adjusting the saturation and creating subtle gradations.

Value describes the lightness or darkness of a color altered by the addition of white or black. Saturation refers to the intensity or purity of the color, with fully saturated colors being the purest forms. When saturation decreases, the color looks washed out or dull. Colors like tints, shades, and tones all have modified saturation and value compared to their original hues.
