Thae equation is given as :

5x - 3y = -9

The equation can be written in slope intercept form as;

y= mx + c where m is the gradient and c is the y-intercept

So this will be;

5x = 3y -9

5x + 9 = 3y

5/3 x + 9/3 = 3y/3

5/3 x + 3 = y

y= 5/3 x + 3

Answer

y = 5/3 x + 3
