The cost of 1 pound of grape is $3 and 0.33 pounds would cost $1. The cost per pound of grape is $3

Using the parameters given for our Calculation;

  • 2 pounds of grapes = $6

The amount of pounds of grape that cost $1 would be;

2 = $6

x = 1

6x = 2

x = 2/6

x = 0.33
