Answer:

Midpoint = ((-8 + 4)/2, (-6 + 2)/2)

= (-4/2, -4/2) = (-2, -2)

Slope = (2 - (-6))/(4 - (-8)) = 8/12 = 2/3

A line perpendicular to the given line will have slope -3/2.

y + 2 = (-3/2)(x + 2)

y + 2 = (-3/2)x - 3

y = (-3/2)x - 5

2y = -3x - 10

3x + 2y = -10
