How do you get the x-value of the x-intercept of the line?

Answer:

(2,0)

Explanation:

Since you're finding the x-intercept, logically y will have to equal 0 in order for x to be at its intercept, therefore plugging in 0 for y in your equation will give you your x-intercept.

3x -2(0) = 6

3x = 6

x = 2

So the x=int for this equation would be at the point:

(2,0)
