1. Think of a time in your life when someone you know was having difficulty. Using that example, choose the statement from the list below that seems most true. Then, for the statement you choose, write which perspective or branch from psychology (humanistic, positive, biopsychology, cognitive-behavioral, developmental, or social psychology) is most related. -they have difficulty appreciating the goof things in their lives

positive psychology is the scientific study of the strenght that enable individuals and communities to thrive.

-they have a medical condition

biopsychology is a interdiciplinary field that analyzes how the brain and neurotransmitters influence our behivious,thpughts and feelings.

- they do things to hurt themselfs or others

hummanistic pyschology is a perpective that emphasizes looking at the whole individual and stresses concepts sucha as free will,self efficancy,and self actualization.

People typically resort to self harm when they are in a state where they find themeselfs overwhelemed by emotions ,without knwing how to cope.

-they had a difficult chieldhood

developement psychology is a scientific approach which aims to explain growth,change and consistency thorought the lifespan

-they let other people influence them too much or to little

social psychology study interpersonal and group dynamics ad social chanlleges,such as prejudice ,implicit bias,bullting,criminal activity and substance abuse.(this fits also fits with -they do things that harm themself or others-)

cognitive behavioral psychology.CBT theory suggest that out thoughts,emotions,body sensations , and behaivior are all connected , and what we think think and so affect how we feel.

I believe this would also help section 2 of the journal . good luck.I really did not undersntand what they meant with write one sentence statement that describes this pespective, so i just did it how i thought was right. :)
