Given the building that can be modeled as a

right rectangular prism with dimentions

8 * 2 3/4 * 2 3/4

Volume is given by

V=8*2(3)/(4)*2(3)/(4)
V=8*2(3)/(4)*2(3)/(4)
V=60.5in^3

since we have 850 bricks

the volume occupied by 850 bricks is therefore

Vbricks=60.5*850
Vbricks=60.5*850
Vbricks=51425

then

the cost of the 850 bricks is

Cbricks=51425*0.06
Cbricks=3085.5

cost of bricks is $3085.50
