The circunference formula is given by

C=2\pi r

where r is the radius. Since r measures 5 ft, we have

\begin{gathered} C=2\pi\cdot5 \\ C=10\pi \end{gathered}

By taking into account that Pi is 3.14, the circuference is equal to 31.4 ft.

On the other hand, the area formula is given by

A=\pi r^2

Then, by substituting r=5 into this formula, we get

\begin{gathered} A=(3.14)(5^2) \\ A=3.14*25 \\ A=78.5ft^2 \end{gathered}

then, the area is equal to 78.5 square feet
