As one object gets closer to another object the force of gravity will increase?

gravity is relevant to when something is being affected by the gravitational pull on earth, or any other planet. for example, i throw an apple into the air. and it comes back down, as newton said. what must come up, must come down. because of gravity, two objects being closer together does not affect the gravitational pull whatsoever. and the force of gravity doesn't change. as gravity just works on it's own, independent of the object, not dependent on the object. however certain objects will fall abit faster than others.
