Solve the inequality on a numberline: 3x > 3

We can simplify the inequality to get x > 1, and the graph is in the image at the end.

How to solve the inequality?

Here we start witht the inequality:

3x > 3

To solve it we need to isolate the variable in one side of the inequality. So we can divide both sides by 3:

3x/3 > 3/3

x > 1

To graph this on a numberline, draw an open circle at x = 1 (open circle means that it is not a solution) and then an arrow that goes to the right,. because x is larger than 1.
