The calculated value of the expression p - q is 0

How to determine the value of p - q

From the question, we have the following parameters that can be used in our computation:

x² + 7x+3

Also, we have that

  • The remainder when divided by (x - p) and (x + q) are the same
  • p = q

From the second bullet above, we have

p = q

Subtract q from both sides of the equation

p - q = 0

Hence, the value of p - q is 0
