the pigpen is not a square so it could be a rectangle or any other shape with four sides.
since the pigpen has four equal angles and it's not a square it's a rectangle.
one side of the pigpen is three feet long--REMEMBER THAT!!!
one foot short of 7 feet is six feet and that is the distance around the pigpen or the perimeter
Time to solve
because the perimeter is 6 feet and one of the sides is three feet
we divide 6 by 3 and get two which is our width
we then multiply 2x3 to get 6
