The area of the path is 150 square meters, and the remaining area of the field is 1850 square meters

How to determine the area of of the part and the rectangle field

The area of the rectangle field can be calculated using

Area = length × width

Using the given dimensions of the rectangle, we have

Area = 50 m × 40 m

Evaluate

Area = 2000 square meters

For the area of the path, we have

Path area = length of the path × width of the field

Path area = 50 m * 3 m

Path area = 150 square meters

Calculate the remaining area of the field, we have

Remaining area = Total area - Path area

Remaining area = 2000 square meters - 150 square meters

Remaining area = 1850 square meters

Therefore, the area of the path is 150 square meters, and the remaining area of the field is 1850 square meters
