The value of VX in the diagram is 20

Similar triangles are geometric figures with corresponding angles equal and proportional side lengths.

In similar triangles, corresponding angles are congruent, and the ratio of the lengths of corresponding sides remains constant, creating proportional triangles.

Since triangles VTU is similar to VWX ,then

33/15 = 24+x/x

let VX be x

33x = 15(24+x)

33x = 360 + 15x

18x = 360

x = 360/18

x = 20

Therefore, the value of VX is 20
