Answer:

Graph D.

Explanation:

From equation (1):

=> 6 (n-1) < 3

=> (6n - 6) < 3

=> 6n < 9

=> n < 9/6

=> n < (3*3)/(3*2)

=> n < (3/2) * (3/3) => n < (3/2) * 1/1

=> n < 3/2

=> n < (2/2) + (1/2)

=> n < 1 + 0.5

=> n < 1.5

Now for equation 2,

=> 2(n+1)>0

=>2n + 2 > 0

=> 2n > -2

=> n > -2/2

=> n> -1/1

=> n > -1

Now, a solution to BOTH of these equations means they fall between these intervals

=> n<1.5 & n>-1

=> -1<n<1.5

So for the value of n has to lie between -1.0 and 1.5 for it to be a solution to BOTH of these equations.
