The probability that a spinner lands on pink is 0.289

Using the parameters given;

  • Number of spins = 1000
  • Frequency of pink = 289

The probability of obtaining pink is ;

  • Frequency of pink / Number of spins

Now we have ;

  • P(pink on 1000) = 289 / 1000 = 0.289

Hence, the probability of landing on pink is 0.289
