The upper bound for the Perimeter and lower bound for the area of the rectangle are : 21 meters and 82 m² respectively .

The Perimeter of a rectangle can be calculated thus ;

  • 2(length + Width)

The Perimeter;

2(15.8 + 5.2)

2(21)

= 42 meters

The area of the rectangle can be obtained using the formula:

  • length × width

The area ;

15.8 × 5.2 = 82.16 ≈ 82.2 m²
