The value of the function f(5) for f(x) = 1/2(3)ˣ + 2 is DNE

How to evaluate the function

From the question, we have the following parameters that can be used in our computation:

f(x) = 1/2(3)ˣ + 2

Also, we have the domain to be

x ≤ 4

This means that we can not calculate the function f(5)

This is so because the value of x in f(5) is out of the domain of the function f(x)

Hence, the function is DNE at x = 5

Question

f(x) = 1/2 * (3) ^ x + 2 when x <= 4

Calculate f(5)
