a) Probability of the selection being a red marble is: 0.55

b) The probability of the selection being an odd number is: 0.5

c) The probability of the selection being red or ann odd number is: 0.275

How to find the Probability of Selection?

We are given that:

Number of red marbles = 12

Number of blue marbles = 10

Total number of marbles = 10 + 12 = 22

a) Probability of the selection being a red marble is:

P(red) = 12/22 = 0.55

b) The probability of the selection being an odd number is:

P(odd) = (11/22) = 0.5

c) P(red or odd) = 0.55 * 0.5 = 0.275
