The first incident is when the animals trust Napoleon, the pig, to lead them after the rebellion against the humans. They believe that Napoleon will create a fair and equal society for all animals. However, Napoleon eventually becomes power-hungry and manipulates the working class for his own benefit.
The second incident is when the working class animals trust Squealer, another pig, to spread propaganda and control their beliefs. Squealer convinces them that their sacrifices and hard work are necessary for the success of the farm, even though they continue to live in poor conditions.
