All the sides do not have equal proportion, so the two figures are not similar.

How to determine if the two figures are similar?

Two figures are similar if the sides of the figures are increasing or decreasing at equal proportion.

So if all the corresponding sides of the figures have equal proportion, then the two figures are similar.

The ratio of the corresponding sides of the figures is calculated as;

QP / MN = 6 / 4

QP/MN = 1.5

HE / GF = 3/2

HE/GF = 1.5

So QP / MN = ME / GF = 1.5

QM / PN = 2/3

HG/EF = 2/1

So QM/PN is not equal to HG/EF

Since all the sides do not have equal proportion, then the two figures are not similar.
