the figure is a parallelogram, sum internal angles = 360°, therefore 2a + 27 + 4a + 57 = 180°

180 = 2a + 27 + 4a + 57

180 = 6a + 84

180 - 84 = 6a

96 = 6a

a = 96 : 6

a = 16°

180 = 32 + 64 + 27 + 57

180 = 180

Answer:

(2a+27)°+(4a+57)° = 180°

2a+27+4a+57=180

6a+84=180

6a=180-84

6a=96

a=16
