The graph of the parabola, Y = x² + 6·x + 5, is attached, created with the ordered pairs obtained using MS Excel.

What is a parabola?; A parabola is the locus of a point that traces a path which is equidistant from a fixed point known as the focus and a fixed line known as the directrix.

The equation of the parabola, Y = x² + 6·x + 5, can be plotted by finding ordered pairs of points on the graph using the equation as follows;

x; -11, -10, -9, -8, -7, -6, -5, -4, -3, -2, -1, 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5

y; 60, 45, 32, 21, 12, 5, 0, -3, -4, -3, 0, 5, 12, 21, 32, 45, 60

The above points can be used to plot the graph of the function; Y = x² + 6·x + 5 on the coordinate plane
