Answer:

(arguable answer) Most people would say no, viruses are not living. They do not have cells, cannot keep a stable state, don't produce their own energy, and don't grow, they would very much be considered nonliving organisms. However, it is arguable, because viruses do adapt and reproduce. They would be considered more like an android-like organism than a living organism.
