The equation in point-slope form is:

y - 3 = (1/3)*(x - 9)

How to find the equation of the line?

If a linear equation passes through two points (x₁, y₁) and (x₂, y₂), then the slope is:

a = (y₂ - y₁)/(x₂ - x₁)

Here we have the two points:

(9,3) and (-6,-2)

Then the slope is:

a = (-2 - 3)/(-6 - 9)

a = -5/-15 = 1/3

Now, using the point (9, 3) we can write the equation as:

y - 3 = (1/3)*(x - 9)
