What does “Yara pe causa” translate to?

It was said to me by someone who speaks Spanish but they said it was Peruvian slang. What does it mean?

Answer:

this is an expression of uncertain origin meaning “careful” or “warning”. It is used in the following way: “Oe, yara con soltar ese jarrón, es de cristal delicado” (“Hey, careful when you put that vase down, it’s made of very delicate glass”).
