What are the gas laws?

In each case the gas laws are to be applied.

Using the ideal gas equation;

PV = nRT

P = pressure

V = volume

n = Number of moles

R = gas constant

T = temperature

n = PV/RT

n = 28.4 * 70.0/0.082 * 2270

= 10.7 moles

2) Using P1/T1 = P2/T2

P1T2 = P2T1

P2 = P1T2/T1

P2 = 8500 * 7918510/27396

= 2.45 *
10^6 atm

3) Using;

V1/T1 = V2/T2

V1 T2 = V2T1

V2 = V1 T2/T1

V2 = 99123 * 350/300

= 1.15 *
10^5 L

4) Using

P1V1 = P2V2

P1 = P2V2/V1

P1 = 22500 * 980.25/230.5

P1 = 95686 mm Hg

5) V1/T1 = V2/T2

V1T2 = V2T1

V1 = V2T1/T2

= 0.589 * 99008/430.25

= -137°C
