The diagram shows the femur (thigh bone), tibia, and fibula (shin bones). Notably, the smaller fibula is not visible. The patella (kneecap) is associated with the knee joint but isn't pictured.

In the diagram, three bones are depicted: the femur (thigh bone), the tibia, and the fibula (shin bones). The femur is the longest bone in the human body and extends from the hip to the knee.

The tibia and fibula are located in the lower leg, with the tibia being the larger and more weight-bearing bone, while the fibula is smaller and runs parallel to the tibia. Notably, the patella (kneecap) is also a vital bone associated with the knee joint. However, the little shin, also known as the smaller lower leg bone or fibula, is not visible in this particular illustration.
